Adding A New Site to WP Multi-Site using Cloudways
In your Domain Name Hosting Company you will
- Add The IP address to the specific domain you are adding to multisite by adding A record pointing to that IP address.
- In the Domain that is the WP Multisite main URL, you will add an two A record pointing to the same IP Address. A = domain then the second A = www.domain
In CloudWays under Domain Management you will add the Domain name to your account.
Add an SSL in Cloudways under SSL Certificates
Add new site in WordPress Multi Site and rename the site with the specific domain name url.
Make sure a theme and Super Admin User is added/active.
